Saturday (at ITCA's expense).

HOSPITALITY: Judi McMahon, Cory Rivera and Kitty Warner

At a meeting of the ITCSC, held on July 25, 2005, the following matters were discussed and agreed upon. However, planning for these events is a fluid matter, and all items are open to input and suggestions from all members, and are subject to revision as discussions continue:

Meals. The ITCSC will provide lunch and dinner both Friday and Saturday. On Friday, deli sandwiches and side dishes will be provided for lunch, and dinner will be catered at an off-campus facility very close to the venue. Dinner will consist of a no-host cocktail hour from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. (menu to be decided). The ITCSC will pay the cost of the dinner and will have a basket available to request and accept donations from those attending. In addition, at the Friday dinner there will be a local Irish band entertaining, beginning at 6:00 p.m. David McMahon is in charge of arrangements for Friday night, so please contact him with any suggestions or comments.

On Saturday, Rick Alsagoff and Bruce Alton have again generously offered to provide lunch. Linda Honey will host Saturday night's dinner at her home.

** Volunteers are requested to provide shuttle service for people who do not have transportation (i.e. out of town visitors and ITCSC members who will be at the shows with their motor homes) to and from the venue and/or local hotels on both Friday and Saturday nights.

ADVERTISING: Regumbah Connoly is chairperson of advertising. Information about the National Specialty will be put in the Montgomery catalog, the Northern California catalog and posted the ITCSC website.

RAFFLE: David McMahon, Chairman. The raffle will be held on Saturday, however, tickets will be sold both Friday and Saturday. We want this to be an extra special raffle, so everyone is asked to contribute at least one item. ITCSC will purchase a large item (yet to be decided) to be donated to the raffle. It is suggested that this item be one of universal interest to all (not just Irish Terrier people), such as an Easy-Up, gift certificate for a pet portrait, etc. All suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.

FAVORS/GiFTS: Favors will be given to each person attending Friday night's dinner Regumbah Connoly will investigate options and costs and make suggestions for a memorable favor.

Gift bags will be given to all Irish Terrier ownrs who attend the shows. Suggestions for items in the gift bags include: a brochure about sightseeing/things to do in Long Beach; recommended contacts in the area, i.e. mechanic, vet, hospital, etc.; dog treats; notepads and pens; etc.

** Members are asked to submit any and all ideas for gift bag items and categories for needed contacts to Judi McMahon and Andrea Burchell (new member).

** A Chairman for this subcommittee of the Hospitality Committee is being sought.
